Ultra High Voltage (UHV) Ceramic Capacitor

By using ceramic technology, Samwha offers ultra high voltage disc type ceramic capacitor in the lineup (hereinafter referred to as ‘UHV’). UHV has temperature range of -25°C to 85°C, and various disc types covering a wide range of capacitances and voltages. Provided from 10,000V to 30,000V with capacitance of 100pF to 4,700pF, it is not only ideal for industrial applications such as welding machine, measurement system, high voltage circuit of electronic equipment, and SMPS but also medical X-ray and display equipment, which require long life and high reliability. Moreover, its flame-retardant coating makes it resistant to insulation liquids and thereby capable of being optimal in a wide range of environments against short-circuit situation.

According to market trends, Samwha is focusing on developing higher capacitance products up to 2.2nF with 20kV and even higher rated voltage up to DC 30kV (1nF). More importantly, it will be available to have Pb free material based products in the end. Samwha UHV will follow market’s demands and provide more values and options eco-friendly at the same time.
