New gas sensors in FIGARO offer

To meet customer demands and follow actual market trends FIGARO Engineering Inc. plans to release three new gas sensors. Brand-new models should become available within next few months, but for business customers, we offer the possibility of ordering pre-production samples.

Incoming models:

FIGARO TGS4260 – potentiostatic electrolysis-type oxygen sensor which has a wide measuring range and operating temperature range. Its performance is compliant with the technical requirements of relevant US and European standards. It is easy to incorporate this sensor in size-oriented applications such as portable oxygen detectors and multi-gas detectors.

  • In 20mm industrial standard packages
  • Linear output
  • Quick response to Oxygen
  • High repeatability/selectivity to O2
  • Long life

FIGARO TGS2616 – has a newly developed sensing element that reduces the influence of interference gases such as alcohol, resulting in highly selective response to hydrogen.
Applications:

  • Hydrogen detection for:
    • transformer oil maintenance
    • steel plant safety, etc.
  • Portable gas detectors
  • Leak detection for gas appliances
  • Hydrogen leak detectors for fuel cells

Features:

  • High selectivity to hydrogen
  • Small size and low power consumption
  • Uses simple electrical circuit

FIGARO CDM7162 – CO2 module uses a compact NDIR CO2 sensor, featuring excellent performance characteristics, including high accuracy and low power consumption. Stable long term operation and output are achieved by dual IR detectors and Figaro’s proprietary signal processing technology.
