NEW UV 365-370 nm LED from Prolight

Maritex introduces new generation of UV LED produced by Prolight Opto with dominant wavelength in area of 360 nm.

PK2B-3LLE-GNVS replaces PK2N-3LLE-VS, which has been in the Maritex offer so far. Compering to its predecessor, PK2B-3LLE-GNVS characterizes with much higher value of minimum radiatical flux: 830 mW / 500 mA (instead 620 mW / 500 mA) and more narrow dominant wavelenght range: 365 – 370 nm (previously 360 – 375 nm).

The UV light with a wavelength close to 360 nm is mainly used in curing machines for adhesives and varnishes, banknote control devices, laboratory measuring instruments, printers and in the processes of mineral and gem analysis.

Solder pads of PK2B-3LLE-GNVS have not changed (3.45 mm x 3.45 mm), which means it is compatible with printed circuit bouards designed for CREE’s XP and XT series LEDs.
